Meet your Photographer

Hello, I'm Gilly!

A Melbourne photographer, mum of two little girls, and the heart behind Pickle & Co. Creative. The name comes from my first daughter’s nickname, Pickle, and has been with me since 2022 (everyone comes up with a business name before they know the business, right?)
I’ve always been a creative at heart, and photography quickly became the outlet I’d been missing whilst on parental leave with my second daughter - allowing me to capture both the stories hidden in everyday life whilst expressing my artistic side. I dove in head-first and the rest is history.
Today, my work is all about warm, nostalgic storytelling imagery that feels cinematic yet natural - documenting families, motherhood, and milestones in a way that’s honest, heartfelt, and true to you.

My Style
If you're after perfectly posed photos, I'm probably not your person - and that's completely okay. My sessions are built around connection and genuine moments. Rather than following a rigid shot list, I gently guide you while leaving space for your personalities, relationships, and the little moments that naturally unfold.
I love building sessions around the things that make your story uniquely yours. Whether that's slow Sunday pancakes at home, collecting shells at your favourite beach, wandering through fields with your horses, or simply embracing the beautiful chaos of this season of life, those personal touches are what bring your gallery to life.
No two sessions are ever the same because no two families are the same. Every story is personal, and I'm here to listen, collaborate, and help you capture this chapter in a way that feels true, meaningful, and timeless.
